Yoga Land

Community Yoga on the Waterfront takes place from the MEMBERS main stage in the main bowl of the park. When we think of Yoga, we often envision someone sitting all zen folded up like a pretzel. Such a misnomer. Yoga is postures and more. It is the embodiment of what we are holding in terms of intention for the fest. Yoga helps you come to your center and we make decisions and live our lives from our center. Perfect to complement our efforts to redefine bullying. All with the help of Jessica Rosenberg, creator of Super Stretch Kids Yoga, the innovative way to teach and connect with kids through interactive classes and apps!

A perfect opportunity to try yoga with a supportive group, and great for those with more experience as well.

Visit Yoga Land from 5-8pm where Yoga instructors and alumni from Yoga North will share many opportunities to experience a wide variety of yoga!  You can also learn about other Yoga opportunities at Yoga North, including weekly classes, workshops, retreats, and Professional Trainings!

About Jesguest_jes_160

Jessica Rosenberg has been practicing yoga and wellness since the early 1990s and teaching for more than 13 years. She studies yogic texts and sequencing philosophies from many yoga and fitness disciplines. The result is a wonderfully blended teaching style and a unique challenging class for children and adults that balances body, mind, and heart to help students enlighten up.

Jessica’s greatest pleasure lies in sharing, mentoring and spreading the wonders of yoga movement, breathing and philosophy. In 2001, she created The Adventures of Super Stretch™, an interactive fitness program, book series and games for the entire family developed to give children a physical outlet to express and empower themselves in a healthy and happy way; revealing their beauty from the inside out.

Jessica is a co-creator of Gorilla Yogis™ — a movement that takes yoga beyond studio walls and into unexpected, offbeat urban settings as a way to raise money and awareness for various community organizations.
