Frequently Asked Questions:
What about lodging? Parking? That information is on the details page here.
Are volunteers needed for the event? Yes! We would love to hear from you if you’d like to volunteer at the festival. There are a number of unique and fun volunteer positions to choose from that will get you admission and a t-shirt. You’ll work about half the day and have the other half to play on your own. Send an email to bridgefestivalvolunteers@gmail.com if interested, and we’ll keep you updated on our needs.
Will this event sell out? It’s always possible. We expect the 2,000 early priced tickets ($25) to go before the end of May (cost goes up to $35 after that). We highly recommend getting tickets in advance – if not for sell out reasons, then to avoid the line at the ticket office.
Where do I get tickets? Your best option is right here. Adults are $25 and kids are only $5 for the whole day (early price) on Saturday. Or get a family ticket good for up to 4 immediate family members for $50. We’ve added some great family activities this year! With your individual ticket, you can proceed straight to the main gate and your paper ticket will be scanned there to redeem a wristband for admission. Family tickets can be redeemed at will call at the ticket office building near the main gate along with event day ticket purchases. The wristband will allow you to leave and return, but no exceptions will be made for lost or damaged wristbands. We do not recommend purchasing paper tickets from other people unless you meet them at the gate for the exchange – paper tickets can only be scanned once and become invalid after they are scanned.
Are these bands awesome? Yes, every single one of them. You don’t want to miss any portion of the festival.
General Admission = open seating? Yes. Bring your blanket and/or camp chair with consideration to others (nothing obnoxious like a huge umbrella blocking everyone behind you). Set up camp in front of the main stage for awhile. Move to the tent stage for a change of scenery or some shade. Mostly, just relax and enjoy wherever you’d like.
Can I bring my dog to the festival? Unfortunately, due to safety and security reasons, dogs and other pets can’t be allowed into the festival.
What else is NOT allowed? Admission without a ticket. Every human must have a ticket or wristband to get in, even vendors and kids 12 & under (special ticket). Chaise or tanning loungers, play pens, video cameras or recording devices of any kind, pro cameras, coolers, cans, glass bottles, outside food & beverages, bicycles, skateboards, and inline skates. Unapproved vending, fireworks and laser pointers/pens will get you in the most trouble here. Disrespect and grumpiness will attract the most negative energy from security and event officials. Don’t bring your own sky lantern either – they’ll be available in the merch tent for 5 bucks and we want to be sure they’re all bright and biodegradable.
What CAN I bring? A positive attitude, smiles, maybe a few hugs. One personal lawn or camp chair per person, a point and shoot camera, a plastic bottle of water as long as it’s factory sealed or empty, blankets, beach towels, yoga mats, infant/toddler strollers and maybe ear plugs for the little ones. Small to medium sized backpacks are fine and fanny packs are funny. All packs will be inspected at the gate. Plan for the weather, as this is a rain or shine event.
How about my foam cheesehead hat? No. Well… okay. If you must.
